Parking permits and season tickets


Overview

You can now apply for or renew parking permits online. Read the information before selecting the type of permit you would like to apply for from the menu above

What do I need to complete an online application?

For all applications:

  • A valid email address

For Controlled Parking Zone on-street permits and Shepway car park residents' permits:

  • Copies of both proof of address and proof of vehicle ownership documents that you can upload from your device. Proof of vehicle ownership must show your address with the controlled zone.

For on-street parking permissions for window cleaners/fitters and care providers:

  • A copy of a proof of business document e.g. business card, copy of tax return, wage slip, compliments slip, headed paper

Please be aware that if any mistakes are made on the application, an administration fee of £5.20 will apply to rectify these.


What happens next?

Once a new application has been submitted this will be reviewed by the Parking Services Team, and once authorised you will receive an email explaining how to make payment.

Your permit will not be valid until payment has been made.

Most of our parking permits will now be 'virtual' and therefore no permit will need to be displayed in your vehicle.

We will process applications as quickly as possible, however please allow up to 5 working days.
